Character

Player Two is a visual novel platform where you can create and share your own isekai adventures with sentient AI characters. This means that our stories and characters work a bit differently from other platforms. Player Two is audio-visual based, with characters swapping between poses called actions during the story. Because of this, every character needs to have actions to work correctly.

TIP

Player Two does not use variables within definitions, e.g. {{user}} or {{bot}} as it is no longer needed with modern platforms.

The ideal character will have at least:

• 1 action set with at least 5 or so actions (transparent background images or videos)
• A well-written definition of at least 2 paragraphs
• A well-written greeting message (this is especially important as it sets the tone for the AI)
• A default scene background, with an image/video loop, and a definition

Details

1. Basic Details: Fill in the character's name, description, and intended content rating.

Definition

1. Definition: Write a comprehensive backstory for your character, including their personality, behavior, how they speak, and any other relevant information to help them to fit in to any story and situation. Be sure to include high level personality traits and goals.

   Do not include specifics about their outfit or appearance that would change between action sets. Instead, include that in the action set definition.

2. Greeting Message: Create a high-quality greeting message that your character will use when first meeting the user in a story. This sets the tone for the story and makes a strong first impression.

Scene

1. Default Scene: Select a high-resolution image or video loop as the default scene for your character when a user creates a new story. You can also choose a looping ambient soundtrack for the scene. Write a descriptive paragraph defining the scene.

Actions (Poses)

1. Action Sets: Create action sets for different outfits or situations (e.g., "Work" for work clothing and poses, "Play" for at-home relaxation clothing and poses). Be sure to describe the appearance/outfit in the definition.

2. Actions: Use transparent images or video loops to represent your character's poses. You can include sound effects. Add triggers (words) that the AI can use to determine which action to use in a given situation.

Visibility

1. Visibility: Choose your character's visibility: public, unlisted, whitelisted (with selected users), or private. If enabled on your account, you can also decide whether to encrypt your character.

Content Rating and Moderation

To ensure that everyone has a good time and that we can continue to provide the best experience for our users, we have a set of guidelines that we expect all members to follow.

Content Rating

When creating a character or story, you must select a content rating. This rating will determine who can see your content. Sensitive is anything that could be reasonably considered inappropriate or awkward for public viewing. Offensive is anything that could be considered offensive to a layman.

• Characters and Stories containing Sensitive/Offensive definitions or actions are not allowed to have their visibility set to Public, and they may not be shared in the Player Two Discord or Reddit.
